This is probably the last edit for this recording of the song. It’s not a very clean edit, but I cut out some of the extraneous middle parts to make the song a more acceptable length. I think it sounds better, but you’re free to disagree in the comments.

This song is untitled right now, but it’s tropical sounding and it’s instrumental, so that’s what the title is for now. This is our first recording of the song; the recording is from our live performance at an open mic night at American University, so don’t expect it to be studio quality. At this point, we are mainly working on the actual song composition–it’s a bit too long and repetitive right now, so we need to figure out how to cut it down. There are also going to be some other cool effects going on in the final recording.

The drums are mostly fixed now (except for levels, maybe) and we took out some parts where the nylon guitar made it sound too busy. Fixed a couple timing issues with the voice, but still need to do some pitch correction and add doubling at parts.

This is our instrumental piece and one of our first songs. Right now, most of it needs to be re-recorded. The drums can probably stay, but the rest was sped up, so it is going to sound a little off until we redo it. Also, the bass sounds out of tune, so that needs to be fixed…
